WORKSHOP

On 19th February, First Edition held its first workshop where participating artists interacted with our space and were introduced to our aim as a free art space. The day kick started off with a discussion on the meaning of Birth in art. Birth alludes to a new journey, a new beginning, for us and the art space we are trying to create. Using only black and white, artists were asked to create works that correspond to this idea of new beginning. Black and white corresponds to all colour and no colour, the start and end to art. Finally the artists showcased their original works, which symbolized a new birth. And thus started our journey…
